What to Expect From a Carnival Excursions Tour

 

Excursions tours are a popular form of travel. They typically last two weeks and are organized by specialized agencies. These agencies develop the itinerary, select the guides, and book flights and hotels. Sometimes they even offer last-minute tours. It is important to know which type of tour you would like to take so that you can compare prices, options, and services.

 

Shore excursions  can range from leisurely strolls to active adventures. Some include going for Snorkeling Nassau, zip-lining, kayaking, horseback riding, and water sports. Others may include hiking, biking, or dog-sledding. Others are purely sightseeing tours that take passengers to the highlights of the port city or nearby locations. In addition, some offer exclusive experiences that can't be had on your own.

 

Many tours have limited space, so it's a good idea to add your name to a waiting list online. This way, you'll receive an e-mail when space opens up. When there is space on a tour, you'll have 72 hours to book it. Alternatively, you can call the cruise ship's shore excursion department and ask to be put on a waiting list.

 

Some excursions have age requirements. For example, infants under three years old must be accompanied by an adult, and certain excursions may not be suitable for them. Some excursions require a certain medical history, so if you have an illness, you may not be able to take part.
